Poetry Festival in

Downtown Bryan

 

Texas Grand Slam is a spoken word, slam poetry festival right here in Bryan/College Station!

This year, the 4th annual festival will be happening on

October 24th and 25th.

 

Forty-two poets from around the nation are coming to compete for some serious cash prizes of $3000 and a Texas-sized belt buckle. October 24th will take place in Downtown Bryan at Revolution Cafe, The Grand Stafford Theatre, and Village Cafe for absolutely free! Doors open at 6:00 P.M. and the event will run till midnight.

 

Saturday, final stage, will take place in Rudder Auditorium on the Texas A&M University campus. Doors open at 7:30 and the event will run till 11:00 P.M. Many poets who have garnered up to 8 million views on YouTube will be competing and performing, including the people of Button Poetry.
